It continues almost always in the same way. This morning I saw good Jesus  more afflicted than usual, threatening a great mortality of people, and I saw that in  certain towns many were dying. Then I passed by Purgatory, and as I recognized  a late friend of mine, I questioned her about various things regarding my state,  especially whether my state is Will of God, and whether it is true that it is Jesus  who comes, or the devil. So I said to her: “Since you are present before the Truth  and you know things with clarity, with no possibility of deceiving yourself, you can  tell me the truth about my things.’  And she said to me: “Do not fear, your state is Will of God, and Jesus loves  you very much - this is why He is pleased to manifest Himself to you.” And I,  proposing some of my doubts to her, prayed her to be so kind as to see before  the light of truth whether they were true or false, and to do me the charity to  come and let me know; and if she did that, as recompense I would have a Mass  celebrated in her suffrage. And she added: “If the Lord wants it, because we  are so immersed in God that we cannot even flutter our eyelashes if we do not  have His concourse. We dwell in God just like a person who dwelled in another  body, who can think, speak, look, work, walk, insofar as it is allowed to him by  that body which surrounds him on the outside. In fact, for us it is not like for  you, who exercise your free volition, your own will; for us every will has ceased,  our will is only the Will of God – from It we live, in It we find all our contentment,  and It forms all our good and our glory.” And as she was showing an unspeakable  contentment for this Will of God, we separated.

Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew. Daily Reflections guiding you to live in the divine will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, march eleventh, nineteen hundred, volume three. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord Jesus, in your holy will we enter this moment of reflection. Open our minds to understand your truth and open our hearts to love your divine will above all things. May every word we hear today deepen our trust in your providence and unite our lives more closely with your eternal fiat. Amen. Saint Paul writes in the letter to the Romans chapter twelve, verse two. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches about the union of the human will with God's will in paragraph twenty eight twenty five. Jesus, although he was a son, learned obedience through what he suffered. How much more reason have we, sinful creatures, to learn obedience? We who in him have become children of adoption. We ask our Father to unite our will to his sons in order to fulfill his will, his plan of salvation for the life of the world. Louisa writes It continues almost always in the same way. And if she did that, as recompense, I would have a mass celebrated in her suffrage. And she added, If the Lord wants it, because we are so immersed in God that we cannot even flutter our eyelashes if we do not have his concourse. We dwell in God just like a person who dwelled in another body, who can think, speak, look, work, walk, insofar as it is allowed to him by that body which surrounds him on the outside. In fact, for us it is not like for you who exercise your free volition, your own will. For us every will has ceased. Our will is only the will of God, for it we live, in it we find all our contentment, and it forms all our good and our glory. And as she was showing an unspeakable contentment for this will of God, we separated. This passage offers a remarkable glimpse into the mystery of the divine will. Jesus speaks with a soul in purgatory who describes what it means to live entirely in God. The soul explains that in the next life the human will no longer acts independently, it rests completely in the will of God. All movement, thought, and joy come from that single source. In the writings of the Book of Heaven, Jesus gradually teaches that this same union with the divine will is meant to begin already here on earth. While we still possess our free will, we are invited to surrender it freely and lovingly to God. Each act of trust, each moment of obedience, and each prayer said in abandonment to his will becomes a step toward that perfect harmony. What is striking in this passage is the joy of the soul who now lives entirely in the will of God. There is no regret, no resistance, no fear, only contentment. The divine will becomes life, happiness, and glory itself. This reveals something profound. The will of God is not a burden placed upon us, but the very environment in which the soul finds its greatest freedom and peace. Every time we say, Fiat, your will be done, we begin to enter this same reality. Our acts become united with God's eternal plan, and even the smallest offering, a prayer, a sacrifice, or a hidden act of love, can participate in his divine work. Let us pray. Lord Jesus, draw our hearts into the mystery of your divine will. Teach us to trust your plans even when we do not understand them. Free us from the restless desire to control our lives, and grant us the peace that comes from surrender. May every thought of our mind, every word of our lips, and every action of our day be united with your eternal fiat. May your will become our refuge, our strength, and our joy. Through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who lived perfectly in your will, help us learn the beautiful freedom of saying with love, let it be done to me according to your word. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. The will of God is not distant from us. It is present in every moment, inviting us to live with trust, obedience, and love. When we unite our will to God's, even the ordinary events of life become part of his eternal plan. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
