Fascinated by the mystical since a young child David found a connection between the various types of magical illusions employed by magicians and deeper spiritual truth. He has authored two books related to his passion for magic and the Catholic Faith; a children's book "Bigger and Better" and "Magi Theology" for which the Nihil Obstat and Imprematur were given by the Knoxville Diocese Bishop's office. In 2010, David discovered Mystic, Luisa Piccarreta and the “Book of Heaven” after a friend suggested some similarities with his own mystical theology.
David has formed “Your Faith Anew!” prayer and study group in 2017 with the goal of helping Catholics fall in love with their Faith. David firmly believes, “The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will and the gift enables us to practice our Faith in a Divine manner most pleasing to God.”

Luisa writes,
This morning, Jesus transported me outside of myself and showed me many people, all in discord. Oh, how much this grieved Jesus! In seeing Him suffer very much I prayed Him to pour it into me. But since He still continues in wanting to chastise the world, Jesus did not want to pour it into me. However, after I prayed Him and prayed Him, to make me content He poured a little bit. Then, being a little relieved, He told me: “The reason why the world has reduced itself to such a sad state is that it has lost subordination to leaders; and since the first leader is God against whom they have rebelled, it happened as a consequence that they have lost any subjection to and dependence on the Church, the laws and all the others who are said to be leaders. Ah! my daughter, what will happen to so many members infected by this bad example of the very ones who are said to be leaders – that is, superiors, parents, and many others? Ah! They will reach such a point that neither parents, nor brothers, nor kings, nor princes will be recognized any more. These members will be like many vipers that will poison one another. Therefore, see how necessary chastisements are in these times, and how necessary it is for death to almost destroy this sort of people, so that the few who will be left may learn at the expense of others to be humble and obedient. So, let Me do; do not want to oppose my chastising the people.”

SPEAKER_01Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew. Daily Reflections guiding you to live in the divine will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, march twentieth, eighteen ninety-nine, volume two. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord Jesus, in a world often marked by division and disorder, grant us the grace to return to the beauty of your divine will. Restore in us true humility, obedience, and love for your order, that we may live as faithful children under your divine authority. May your will reign in us and through us. Amen. Saint Paul writes in the letter to the Romans, chapter thirteen, verses one and two. Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. The Catechism of the Catholic Church clearly states in paragraph 1899, The authority required by the moral order derives from God. Let every person be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God. Louisa writes This morning Jesus transported me outside of myself and showed me many people, all in discord. Oh how much this grieved Jesus. In seeing him suffer very much, I prayed him to pour it into me. But since he still continues in wanting to chastise the world, Jesus did not want to pour it into me. However, after I prayed him and prayed him, to make me content, he poured a little bit. Then, being a little relieved, he told me. And since the first leader is God against whom they have rebelled, it happened as a consequence that they have lost any subjection to and dependence on the church, the laws, and all the others who are said to be leaders. Ah, my daughter, what will happen to so many members infected by this bad example of the very ones who are said to be leaders, that is, superiors, parents, and many others. Ah, they will reach such a point that neither parents, nor brothers, nor kings, nor princes will be recognized anymore. These members will be like many vipers that will poison one another. Therefore, see how necessary chastisements are in these times, and how necessary it is for death to almost destroy this sort of people, so that the few who will be left may learn at the expense of others, to be humble and obedient. So let me do. In this sobering passage, Jesus reveals a profound spiritual truth. Disorder in the world begins with disorder in the soul. When humanity rejects God, the first and highest authority, it inevitably loses its sense of order in every other relationship. What follows is not freedom, but fragmentation, confusion, and ultimately mutual destruction. Jesus identifies the root of this collapse as the loss of subordination. This is not a call to oppression, but to rightful order. In the divine will, subordination is not humiliation, it is harmony. It is the alignment of the human will with the divine will. When that alignment is broken, everything else begins to unravel. We see this reflected in the breakdown of family life, respect for authority, and even truth itself. Parents are no longer honored. Leaders are mistrusted or corrupt, and society becomes divided against itself, like many vipers that will poison one another, as Jesus describes. Yet within this warning is also a hidden mercy. Jesus speaks of chastisements not as vengeance, but as correction, a severe mercy meant to awaken souls. When everything else fails, suffering can become the final teacher, leading the soul back to humility and obedience. For those living in the divine will, this message is deeply personal. We are called not to resist God's providence, even when it's difficult to understand. Instead, we are invited to unite ourselves with His will, trusting that even purification has a purpose. Today we can examine our own hearts. Where do I resist God's authority? Where do I insist on my own will? The path back to peace is simple, though not easy. Humility, obedience, and trust. To live in the divine will is to restore order. First within ourselves, and then through grace in the world around us. Let us pray. Lord Jesus, I place my will before you. Where there is resistance in me, soften it. Where there is pride, humble it. Where there is disorder, bring your divine order. Teach me to love your will above all things. Even when I do not understand your ways, give me the grace to trust you. Let me not oppose what you permit, but unite myself to your divine plan. Form in me a heart that is obedient, peaceful, and surrendered. May I live in harmony with your will, and become an instrument of your peace in a world that longs for order and truth. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. Let us walk in humility and trust, allowing God to restore order in our lives through his divine will. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
