Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”

Luisa writes,
This morning, as I was outside of myself, I saw the Celestial Mama with the Baby in Her arms. The Divine Baby called me with His little hand, and I flew to put myself on my knees before the Queen Mama; and Jesus told me: “My daughter, today I want you to speak with our Mama.” And I said: ‘My Celestial Mama, tell me, is there anything in me that displeases Jesus?’ And She: “Dearest daughter of Mine, be tranquil, for now I don’t see anything that may displease my Son. If – may it never be – you will run into something that can displease Him, I will let you know immediately. Trust your Mama and do not fear.” As the Celestial Queen assured me, I felt new life being infused in me, and I added: ‘My Most Sweet Mama, what sad times we are in. Tell me, is it really true that Jesus wants the reunions of priests?’ And She: “He surely does, because the waves are rising too high, and these reunions will be the anchors, the lamps, the helm, with which the Church will be saved from shipwreck caused by the storm. In fact, while it will appear that the storm has submerged everything, after the storm it will be seen that the anchors, the lamps, the helm - that is, the most stable things in order to continue the life of the Church – are still there. But – oh, how vile, cowardly and hard-hearted they are! Almost none of them moves, while these are times for works. The enemies are not resting, while they remain there in sluggishness – but, so much the worse for them.” Then She added: “My daughter, try to make up for everything by means of Love. May you cherish one thing alone: to love; one thought alone, one word alone, one life alone: Love. If you want to content and please Jesus, love Him, and give Him always the occasion to speak of Love. This is the only relief that cheers Him: Love. Tell Him to speak to you of Love, and He will put Himself in feast.” And I: ‘My tender Jesus, did You hear what our Mama is saying? That I should ask You for Love, and to speak about Love.’ And Jesus, celebrating, said such and so many things about the virtue, the height, the nobility of Love, that it is not for the human language to be able to repeat it; therefore I stop here…

SPEAKER_00Welcome. This is David Russell in Your Faith Anew, Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Luisa Picaretta, March twenty sixth, nineteen eleven, volume ten. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. O divine love, breathe within us, that we may live only to love you. Let every thought, word, and heartbeat be consumed in your will, so that we may give you the relief you so desire. Teach us to listen to the voice of our heavenly mother, and to respond with total abandonment in love. Amen. Saint Paul writes in the first letter to the Corinthians, chapter thirteen, verse thirteen. So faith, hope, love abide. These three. But the greatest of these is love. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph seventeen sixty-six to love is to will the good of another. Love is not merely a feeling, but an act of the will, perfected in charity. In the divine will, love becomes divine in its source and eternal in its effect. Now, let us enter into the word given through Louisa. And Jesus, celebrating, said such and so many things about the virtue, the height, the nobility of love, that it is not for the human language to be able to repeat it. Therefore, I stop. In this powerful passage, heaven opens to reveal a simple yet profound truth. Everything comes down to love, not human love, which fluctuates and fades, but divine love, pure, constant, and life giving. The Blessed Mother reassures Louisa just as she reassures us. She invites trust, peace, and confidence. But then she directs us toward the mission to make up for everything through love. In a world of confusion, division, and spiritual storm, love becomes the anchor, the lamp, and the helm. Jesus Himself rejoices when we ask Him to speak about love. This is notable. Of all things we could ask, love is what delights him most. Why? Because love is his very essence. When we love in the divine will, we enter into his own interior life. To live in the divine will means to simplify everything into one act love. One thought love. One word love. One life love. And this love is not passive. It repairs. It intercedes. It uplifts the church. It becomes a participation in the very life of God. Remember, the greatest gift you can give Jesus today is not your perfection, but your love. Let us pray. O Jesus, divine love, I surrender my entire being into your will. Take every thought, every word, every action, and transform it into love. Let me be a living act of love that consoles your heart. Blessed Mother, guide me and protect me. Teach me to trust as you have taught Louisa and to live without fear. May my life become one continuous act of love, rising like incense before the throne of God, giving you the relief you so desire. Jesus, speak to me of love, and let my soul rejoice in your presence. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. Let your life become one simple, powerful act. Love. In every moment, choose love, and you'll be living in the divine will. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
