"Your Faith Anew!"
Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”
Join us daily as we seek not only to understand our Faith—but to live it fully, joyfully, and in union with the Divine Will.

Luisa writes,
While I was all afflicted and confused, and almost without hope of seeing my adorable Jesus again, all of a sudden He came and told me: “Do you know what I want from you? I want you similar to Me in everything, both in operating and in the intention. I want you to be respectful with everyone, because respecting everyone gives peace to oneself and peace to others; and that you consider yourself the least of all; that you meditate constantly on my teachings within your mind, and keep them in your heart, so that, on the occasion, you may find them always ready to be used and put into practice. In sum, I want your life to be an outpouring of Mine.” And while He was saying this, I saw behind the Lord an intense cold and a fire coming down upon earth, which caused damage to crops. I said: ‘Lord, what are You doing? Poor people!’ But not paying attention to me, He disappeared.

SPEAKER_01Welcome. This is David Russell and your faith anew. Daily reflections guiding you to live in the divine will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, april twenty second, nineteen oh one, volume four. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, you call us to reflect the life of your Son in all that we do. Grant us the grace to live with humility, to act with purity of intention, and to carry within us the living presence of Jesus. May our thoughts, words, and actions become an outpouring of his divine life. Amen. Saint Paul writes in his letter to the Galatians chapter two verse twenty. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me, and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph four sixty. The Word became flesh to make us partakers of the divine nature. For this is why the Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son of Man, so that man, by entering into communion with the Word, and thus receiving divine sonship, might become a son of God. In this passage, the Church reminds us that our call is not merely to imitate Christ externally, but to participate in His very life. Through grace, we are invited to become reflections of Him in both our actions and our intentions. Louisa writes While I was all afflicted and confused and almost without hope of seeing my adorable Jesus again, all of a sudden he came and told me Do you know what I want from you? I want you similar to me in everything, both in operating and in the intention. I want you to be respectful with everyone, because respecting everyone gives peace to oneself and peace to others, and that you consider yourself the least of all, that you meditate constantly on my teachings within your mind, and keep them in your heart, so that on the occasion you may find them always ready to be used and put into practice. In sum, I want your life to be an outpouring of mine. And while he was saying this, I saw behind the Lord an intense cold and a fire coming down upon earth, which caused damage to crops. I said, Lord, what are you doing? Poor people but not paying attention to me, he disappeared. In today's passage, Jesus gives a clear and direct description of what it means to live in the divine will. It's not simply about doing good things, but about becoming like him in both action and intention. This is a radical call. Jesus is not asking for occasional imitation, he is asking for transformation. He desires that every movement of our soul, every thought, every interaction reflect his own way of being. Notice the simplicity of his instructions. Respect everyone. Consider yourself the least. Meditate constantly on his teachings, and keep them ready in your heart. These are not extraordinary acts, but ordinary ones done in an extraordinary way. Done in union with him. Respect becomes more than courtesy. It becomes divine peace flowing through us. Humility becomes more than self-awareness. It becomes the space where God can fully act. Meditation on his teachings becomes more than reflection. It becomes formation, shaping our very interior life. And then comes the summary. I want your life to be an outpouring of mine. This is the essence of living in the divine will. It's allowing his life to flow through ours without resistance. Yet, alongside this invitation, Loisa sees a vision of suffering, cold and fire damaging crops. This reminds us that while God calls souls to union, the world often resists him. Justice and mercy unfold together. Our response is not fear, but deeper surrender. The more the world drifts, the more the soul is called to become a living refuge of God's presence. Today, Jesus invites us not to just follow him, but to become a continuation of his life on earth. Let us pray. Jesus, my Lord, I surrender my life to you. Form within me your own thoughts, your desires, and your intentions. Let nothing remain in me that is not united to you. Teach me to act with love, to speak with gentleness, and to walk in humility. Help me to see others as you see them, and to bring peace wherever I go. May your teachings live within my heart, ready in every moment to guide me. May my life no longer be my own, but a reflection of yours. Jesus, let my soul become an outpouring of your divine life, so that all I do may give you glory and bring grace to the world. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. May we take to heart this call to become living reflections of Christ, allowing his life to flow through us in every moment. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
