"Your Faith Anew!"
Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”
Join us daily as we seek not only to understand our Faith—but to live it fully, joyfully, and in union with the Divine Will.

Luisa writes,
As I was in my usual state and not finding my sweet Jesus, I had to go
around very much to go in search of Him. Finally I found Him in the arms of the
Queen Mama, suckling milk from Her breasts. As much as I said and did, He did
not seem to pay attention to me; or rather, He did not even look at me. Who can
say the pain of my poor heart, in seeing that Jesus was not paying attention to
me? Then, after I gave vent to my tears, having compassion for me, He came into
my arms and poured from His mouth a little bit of that milk which He had suckled
from the Queen Mama.
After this, I looked into His breast, and He had a little pearl, so refulgent
as to invest the most holy Humanity of Our Lord with light. Wanting to know
the meaning of it, I asked Jesus what that pearl was, which, while appearing so
small, spread so much light. And Jesus: “It is the purity of your suffering which,
though small, is the cause of so much light, because you suffer only for love of
Me and would be ready to suffer more if I conceded it to you. My daughter, purity
in operating is so great, that one who operates with the sole purpose of pleasing
Me alone, does nothing other than spread light from all of his operating. One
who does not operate in an upright way, even in good, does nothing other than
spread darkness.” Then I looked into the breast of Our Lord, and He had a most
clear mirror, and it seemed that those who walked in an upright way remained
completely absorbed in that mirror, while those who did not, remained outside,
without being able to receive any imprint of the image of blessed Jesus. Ah, Lord,
keep me all absorbed in this divine mirror, that I may have no other shade of
intention in my operating.

SPEAKER_01Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew, Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picarata, april twenty fifth, nineteen hundred, volume three. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, grant us the grace to act with purity of intention, seeking only to please you in all things. Strip away every hidden motive, every desire for self, and form in us a heart that loves you purely for love of you alone. May every act we offer become light before your divine majesty. Amen. Saint Paul writes in his first letter to the Corinthians chapter ten verse thirty one. So whatever you eat or drink, and whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. The catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraphs seventeen fifty two The right intention directs an action toward a true good. It focuses the intention on the end, that is on God. The end is the first goal of the intention and indicates the purpose pursued in the action. With this in mind, we now enter into the light of this divine teaching. Louisa writes As I was in my usual state and not finding my sweet Jesus, I had to go around very much to go in search of him. Finally I found him in the arms of the Queen Mama, suckling milk from her breasts. As much as I said and did, he did not seem to pay attention to me, or rather he did not even look at me. Who can say the pain of my poor heart in seeing that Jesus was not paying attention to me? Then, after I gave vent to my tears, having compassion for me, he came into my arms and poured from his mouth a little bit of that milk which he had suckled from the Queen Mama. After this, I looked into his breast, and he had a little pearl so refulgent as to invest the most holy humanity of our Lord with light. Wanting to know the meaning of it, I asked Jesus what that pearl was, which, while appearing so small, spread so much light. And Jesus It is the purity of your suffering which, though small, is the cause of so much light. Because you suffer only for love of me and would be ready to suffer more if I conceded it to you. My daughter, purity in operating is so great that one who operates with the sole purpose of pleasing me alone does nothing other than spread light from all of his operating. One who does not operate in an upright way, even in good, does nothing other than spread darkness. Then I looked into the breast of our Lord, and he had a most clear mirror, and it seemed that those who walked in an upright way remained completely absorbed in that mirror, while those who did not remained outside without being able to receive any imprint of the image of blessed Jesus. Ah Lord, keep me all absorbed in this divine mirror, that I may have no other shade of intention in my operating. In this passage, Jesus reveals a hidden but actual truth. The value of an action is not measured by its size, but by its purity. A small act done purely for love of God becomes a radiant pearl, shining, illuminating, transforming. The soul who lives in the divine will learns to purify intention. It is no longer what do I gain or how am I seen? But simply is this pleasing to you, my Jesus? When intention is pure, everything becomes light. When intention is divided, even good actions lose their brilliance. Jesus shows Louisa a mirror, clear, divine. This mirror represents his own will. Only those who act uprightly with pure intention can be absorbed into it, reflecting his very image. To live in the divine will is to live inside that mirror, to let every thought, word, and action be stripped of self and filled with God alone. This is the secret of sanctity. Not doing more, but doing everything with God alone as the end. Let us pray. Lord Jesus, purify my heart. Remove every hidden intention that seeks self instead of you. Make my soul a clear mirror, reflecting only your light. May every action, no matter how small, be done solely for love of you. Let my suffering be pure. Let my joy be pure. Let my service be pure. Absorb me into your divine will so that nothing in me casts a shadow. But everything becomes light. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. May you walk in the light of purity, allowing every act of your day to become radiant before God, transforming the ordinary into the eternal through love. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
