"Your Faith Anew!"
Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”
Join us daily as we seek not only to understand our Faith—but to live it fully, joyfully, and in union with the Divine Will.

Luisa writes,
This morning, Jesus aroused much compassion; He was so afflicted and in suffering that I would not dare to ask Him any question. We would look at each other in silence; every now and then He would give me a kiss, and I would kiss Him; and He continued to make Himself seen in this way several times. On the last time He made me see the Church, telling me these exact words: “All Heaven is veiled in my Church. Just as in Heaven one is the head, which is God, and many are the saints, of different conditions, orders and merits, so in my Church, in which all Heaven is veiled, one is the head, which is the Pope, and the Sacrosanct Trinity is veiled even in the triple tiara that covers his head; and many are the members that depend on this head – that is, different dignities, various orders, superior and inferior, from the littlest to the greatest, they all serve to embellish my Church. Each one, according to its degree, has the office entrusted to it, and by the exact fulfillment of the virtues it comes to give from itself a splendor so very fragrant to my Church, that the earth and Heaven are perfumed and illuminated, and the people are so drawn by this light and by this fragrance, that it is almost impossible for them not to surrender to the truth. I leave it to you, then, to consider those infected members which, instead of shedding light, cast darkness. How much torment they cause in my Church.”
While Jesus was saying this, I saw the confessor near Him. Jesus stared at him with His penetrating gaze; then He turned to me and told me: “I want you to have full confidence in the confessor, even in the smallest things; so much so, that there must be no difference for you between Me and him, and according to your confidence and faith in his words, so I will concur.” In the very act in which Jesus was saying these words, I remembered about certain temptations of the devil which had produced a little bit of distrust in me. But Jesus, with His vigilant eye, immediately corrected me, and at that very moment I felt that distrust being removed from within my interior. May the Lord be always blessed, who has so much care for this soul, so miserable and sinful.

SPEAKER_01Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew, Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, may second, eighteen ninety nine, volume two. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord Jesus, in this sacred moment, open our hearts to see your church as you see it, radiant, ordered, and alive with your divine presence. Give us the grace to love your church, to trust the guidance you provide, and to live our role faithfully within it. Amen. Saint Paul writes in the first letter to the Corinthians, chapter twelve, verses twelve and thirteen. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many are one body, so it is with Christ, for by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph seven hundred ninety five. Christ and his church thus together make up the whole Christ. The Church is one with Christ. The saints are acutely aware of this unity. Let us rejoice then and give thanks that we have become not only Christians, but Christ Himself. In this unity, heaven and earth are not divided, but mysteriously joined in the body of Christ. The church becomes the visible expression of this divine reality. Louisa writes This morning Jesus aroused much compassion. He was so afflicted in suffering that I would not dare to ask him any question. We would look at each other in silence. Every now and then he would give me a kiss, and I would kiss him. And he continued to make himself seen in this way several times. On the last time he made me see the church, telling me these exact words. All heaven is veiled in my church. Just as in heaven one is the head, which is God, and many are the saints of different conditions, orders, and merits, so in my church, in which all heaven is veiled. One is the head, which is the Pope, and the sacrosanct trinity is veiled even in the triple tier that covers his head. And many are the members that depend on this head, that is, different dignities, various orders, superior and inferior, from the littlest to the greatest, they all serve to embellish my church. Each one, according to its degree, has the office entrusted to it, and by the exact fulfillment of the virtues it comes to give from itself a splendor so very fragrant to my church, that the earth and heaven are perfumed and illuminated, and the people are so drawn by this light and by this fragrance that it is almost impossible for them not to surrender to the truth. I leave it to you then to consider those infected members which, instead of shedding light, cast darkness. How much torment they cause in my church. While Jesus was saying this, I saw the confessor near him. Jesus stared at him with his penetrating gaze. Then he turned to me and told me I want you to have full confidence in the confessor, even in the smallest things, so much so that there must be no difference for you between me and him, and according to your confidence and faith in his words. So I will concur. In the very act in which Jesus was saying these words, I remembered about a certain temptation of the devil which had produced a little bit of a distrust in me. But Jesus, with his vigilant eye, immediately corrected me, and at that very moment I felt that distrust being removed from within my interior. May the Lord be always blessed, who has so much care for this soul, so miserable and sinful. In this incredible image, Jesus reveals the church as heaven veiled upon the earth. What we see outwardly, the structure, the hierarchy, the sacraments is not merely human organization, but a divine reality made visible. Just as heaven has order, so too the church has order, with Christ as the true head and the Pope as his visible representative. Each member has a place, a purpose, a mission. When we live our vocation faithfully, whether hidden or visible, we add to the splendor of the church. Our acts in the divine will become light and fragrance, drawing souls to truth. But Jesus also warns of the opposite. When members fail in virtue, darkness spreads. The call then is deeply personal. We are not spectators in the church. We are living members whose fidelity or infidelity affects the whole body. Jesus also emphasizes trust, especially trust in spiritual authority. In the divine will, obedience becomes a channel of grace. Confidence opens the door for Jesus to act, while distrust closes it. To live in the divine will is to live fully united to this divine order, to become a light within the church, participating in the very life of heaven already present on earth.
SPEAKER_00Let us pray.
SPEAKER_01O Jesus, reveal to my soul the beauty of your church as heaven veiled on earth. Help me to see beyond the visible and enter into the mystery of your divine life flowing within her. Give me the grace to fulfill my role faithfully, no matter how small, knowing that every act done in your will contributes to the glory of your body. Remove from me all distrust, all hesitation, and all resistance to your guidance. Teach me to trust as you ask, to trust in your church, in your ministers, and in your divine plan. May my life become light and fragrance, drawing souls not to myself, but to you. And may I live so united to your will that heaven is not distant, but alive within me.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_01Thank you for joining your faith anew today. May you walk in the awareness that heaven is not far away. It's veiled within the church and within every soul who lives in the divine will. Let your life be a light that reflects this truth. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
