"Your Faith Anew!"
Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”
Join us daily as we seek not only to understand our Faith—but to live it fully, joyfully, and in union with the Divine Will.

Luisa writes,
This morning my adorable Jesus was not coming. Then, after much waiting He came, and caressing me, told me: “My daughter, do you know what my design is upon you, and the state I want from you?” And pausing a little, He added: “The design I have upon you is not of prodigious things, and of many things which I could operate upon you to show my work; rather, my design is to absorb you in my Will, making you one with It, and to make of you a perfect example of uniformity of your will with Mine. But this is the most sublime state, it is the greatest prodigy, it is the miracle of miracles that I intend to make of you.
My daughter, in order to arrive at making her will perfectly one with Ours, the soul must render herself invisible. She must imitate Me who, while I fill the world by keeping it absorbed within Myself and by not being absorbed in it, render Myself invisible, for I do not let Myself be seen by anyone. This means that there is no matter in Me, but that everything is most pure Spirit; and if in my assumed Humanity I took on matter, it was to render Myself similar to man in everything and to give him a most perfect example of how to spiritualize this very matter. So, the soul must spiritualize everything and arrive at becoming invisible in order to be able to easily make her will one with my Will, because that which is invisible can be absorbed by another object. If one wants to make one object out of two objects, it is necessary that one of these lose its shape, otherwise one could never arrive at forming one single being.
What fortune yours would be if, by destroying yourself to the point of becoming invisible, you could receive a shape fully divine! Even more, by being absorbed in Me, and I in you, forming one single being, you would come to retain the divine source within yourself; and since my Will contains every good that can ever be, you would come to retain all goods, all gifts, all graces, and would not have to look for them anywhere else but within yourself. And if virtues have no boundaries, when the creature is in my Will insofar as she can reach, she will find their limit, because my Will makes one acquire the most heroic and sublime virtues which the creature cannot surpass.
The height of the perfection of a soul undone in my Will is such that she reaches the point of operating like God. And this is no wonder, because, since it is no longer her will that lives in her but the Will of God Himself, every amazement ceases if, by living with this Will, she possesses the power, the wisdom, the sanctity and all the other virtues that God Himself contains. It is enough to tell you, so that you may become enamored and cooperate as much as you can on your part to reach such a point, that the soul who arrives at living of my Will alone is queen of all queens, and her throne is so high as to reach the throne of the Eternal One; she enters the secrets of the Most August Trinity, and participates in the reciprocal love of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Oh, how all the Angels and Saints honor her, men admire her, and the demons fear her, seeing the Divine Being in her!”
'Ah, Lord, when will You make me arrive at this, since by myself I can do nothing!’
Now, who can say all that the Lord infused in me through intellectual light about this uniformity of wills? The height of those concepts is so great that my tongue, not well refined, has no words to express them. I could only say this little, though speaking nonsense, of that which the Lord made me comprehend through most vivid light.

SPEAKER_01Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew, Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, May 21, 1900, volume three. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, draw our souls into perfect union with your divine will. Empty us of every attachment to self so that your life may reign fully within us. Teach us to surrender our human will and allow your divine being to become the source of every thought, word, and action. May we cooperate faithfully with your grace and become living reflections of your holiness. Amen. Saint John writes in the Holy Gospel according to John, chapter seventeen, verses twenty one to twenty three. May they all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. And I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may be brought to perfection as one. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph four six zero The Word became flesh to make us partakers of the divine nature. For this is why the Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son of Man, so that man, by entering into communion with the Word and thus receiving divine sonship, might become a son of God. The Church teaches that God calls the human person into deep communion with his own divine life. Through grace, the soul is invited to participate in the life of the Trinity and to live in loving union with God. The more the soul abandons herself to the divine will, the more she reflects the holiness, love, and life of God Himself. And now, let us enter into this beautiful lesson from the Book of Heaven. Louisa writes This morning my adorable Jesus was not coming. Then, after much waiting he came and caressing me, told me My daughter, do you know what my design is upon you and the state I want from you? And pausing a little, he added, The design I have upon you is not of prodigious things, and of many things which I could operate upon you to show my work. Now, who can say all that the Lord infused in me through intellectual light about this uniformity of wills? The height of those concepts is so great that my tongue, not well refined, has no words to express them. I could only say this little, though speaking nonsense, of that which the Lord made me comprehend through most vivid light. Today Jesus reveals one of the highest teachings found within the book of Heaven the complete uniformity of the human will with the divine will. He tells Louisa that this union is not merely a spiritual devotion or an extraordinary grace among many others, it is the greatest prodigy and the miracle of miracles. Jesus explains that the soul must become invisible in order to be absorbed into his divine will. This invisibility does not mean the destruction of the person, but the surrender of self-centered living. The soul gradually lets go of pride, selfish desires, attachments, and personal control so that God alone may reign. This teaching echoes the life of Jesus Himself. Though he fills the universe, he remains hidden. In the Eucharist, he is present, yet veiled. In the divine will, the soul also learns hiddenness, humility, and surrender. The more the soul disappears into God, the more God manifests his own divine life within her. Jesus tells Louisa that when the soul is fully united with his will, she retains within herself the divine source of every grace and virtue. This is because the divine will contains all goodness, holiness, wisdom, and love. The soul no longer searches outwardly for fulfillment because she possesses God Himself dwelling and operating within her. This is not because the creature becomes God by nature, but because God freely shares his own divine operation with the soul united to his will. Living in the divine will means allowing Christ to think in us, love in us, pray in us, and act in us. It is the fulfillment of Saint Paul's words. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Today, Jesus invites us not merely to admire this teaching, but to cooperate with grace. Every act of surrender, humility, and trust draws the soul deeper into union with the divine will. Let us pray. Jesus, divine King of my soul, absorb me completely into your most holy will. Remove from me every resistance, every attachment, and every desire that keeps me from belonging entirely to you. Lord, teach me the holy hiddenness that allows your divine life to reign within me. Let my human will decrease so that your will may become the source of my every thought, word, and action. I surrender my plans, my fears, my ambitions, and my self-love into your hands. Transform me into a living reflection of your divine being. O Most Holy Trinity, draw me into your eternal love. May my soul live in your will so completely that your peace, wisdom, sanctity, and charity shine through every moment of my life. Jesus, I trust in you. May your divine will be my life, my rest, and my eternal joy. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. May we respond generously to Jesus' invitation to surrender our human will and live ever more deeply in his divine will. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
