Luisa writes,

Finding myself in my usual state, I was following the Hours of the Passion
of my sweet Jesus, especially when He was presented to Pilate, who asked Him
what His Kingdom was. And my always lovable Jesus told me: “My daughter, that
was the first time in my terrestrial Life that I dealt with a gentile authority, who
asked Me what my Kingdom was. And I answered him that my Kingdom is not of
this world, for if it were of this world, thousands of legions of Angels would defend Me. But with this, I opened my Kingdom to the gentiles, and communicated my celestial doctrines to them; so much so, that Pilate asked me: ‘How is it this - You are King?!’ And immediately I answered him: ‘I am King, and I have come into the world to teach the Truth...’ With this, I wanted to make my way into his mind in order to make Myself known; so much so that, touched, he asked Me: ‘What is the Truth?’ But he did not wait for my answer; I did not have the good of making Myself understood. I would have said to him: ‘I am the Truth; everything is Truth in Me. Truth is my patience in the midst of so many insults; Truth is my sweet gaze among so many derisions, slanders, contempts. Truths are my gentle and attractive manners in the midst of so many enemies, who hate Me while I love them, and who want to give Me death, while I want to embrace them and give
them Life. Truths are my words, full of dignity and of Celestial Wisdom - everything is Truth in Me. The Truth is more than majestic Sun which, no matter how much they try to trample on it, rises more beautiful and bright, to the point of shaming
its very enemies, and of knocking them down at its feet.

Pilate asked Me with sincerity of heart, and I was ready to answer. Herod,
instead, asked Me with malice and curiosity, and I did not answer. Therefore, to
those who want to know holy things with sincerity, I reveal Myself more than they
expect; but with those who want to know them with malice and curiosity, I hide
Myself, and while they want to make fun of Me, I confuse them and make fun of
 them.

However, since my Person carried the Truth with Itself, It performed Its office
also in front of Herod. My silence at the stormy questions of Herod, my humble
gaze, the air of my Person, all full of sweetness, of dignity and of nobility, were all
 Truths - and operating Truths.”

Welcome. This is David Russell and your faith anew daily reflections guiding you to live in the divine will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, june first, nineteen twenty two, volume fourteen. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord Jesus, eternal truth, open our hearts to recognize you not only in your words, but in your silence, patience, sweetness, and majesty. Teach us to live in your truth, and to let your kingdom reign within us. Amen. Saint John the Apostle writes in the gospel according to John chapter eighteen verse thirty seven. So Pilate said to him, Then you are a king. Jesus answered, You say I am a king? For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice. The catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph twenty four sixty six. In Jesus Christ, the whole of God's truth has been made manifest, full of grace and truth, he came as the light of the world. He is the truth. This prepares us to hear today's reading, where Jesus reveals that truth is not merely spoken by him, but truth is his very person, his patience, his silence, his gaze, his dignity and his love. Louisa writes Finding myself in my usual state, I was following the hours of the passion of my sweet Jesus, especially when he was presented to Pilate, who asked him what his kingdom was, and my always lovable Jesus told me My daughter, that was the first time in my terrestrial life that I dealt with a Gentile authority, who asked me what my kingdom was, and I answered him that my kingdom is not of this world, for if it were of this world thousands of legions of angels would defend me. But with this I opened my kingdom to the Gentiles and communicated my celestial doctrines to them, so much so that Pilate asked me, How is it this you are king? And immediately I answered him, I am king, and I have come into the world to teach the truth. With this I wanted to make my way into his mind in order to make myself known, so much so that touched, he asked me, What is truth? But he did not wait for my answer. I did not have the good of making myself understood. I would have said to him I am the truth, everything is truth in me. Truth is my patience in the midst of so many insults, truth is my sweet gaze among so many derisions, slanders, contempts. Truths are my gentle and attractive manners in the midst of so many enemies who hate me while I love them, and who want to give me death while I want to embrace them and give them life. Truths are my words, full of dignity and of celestial wisdom. Everything is truth in me. The truth is more than majestic sun, which, no matter how much they try to trample on it, rises more beautiful and bright, to the point of shaming its very enemies and of knocking them down at its feet. Pilate asked me with sincerity of heart, and I was ready to answer. Herod instead, asked me with malice and curiosity, and I did not answer. Therefore, to those who want to know holy things with sincerity, I reveal myself more than they expect. But with those who want to know them with malice and curiosity, I hide myself, and while they want to make fun of me, I confuse them and make fun of them. However, since my person carried the truth with itself, it performed its office also in front of Herod. My silence at the stormy questions of Herod, my humble gaze, the air of my person, all full of sweetness, of dignity, of nobility, were all truths and operating truths. Today Jesus reveals that truth is not simply an idea, a doctrine or an answer to a question. Truth is a person. Truth is Jesus Himself. Before Pilate, Jesus does not defend himself by earthly force. He does not call down legions of angels. He stands as king, but his kingdom is not of this world. His kingdom is founded upon truth, and that truth shines even when rejected. Jesus tells Louisa that everything in him is truth his patience, his gaze, his silence, his words, his dignity, his sweetness. Even when mocked, accused and condemned, Jesus remains entirely himself. Nothing false enters him. No resentment, no fear, no self defense, no bitterness. He loves while being hated. He gives life while others prepare his death. This is a profound lesson for living in the divine will. To live in God's will is to allow Jesus to reign in us as truth. It means that our words, our silence, our reactions, our patience, and even our suffering can become operating truths when they are united to Him. Pilate asked sincerely, but did not wait. Herod asked with curiosity and malice, and Jesus remained silent. This teaches us that holy things are received only by a sincere heart. The divine will is not given to curiosity alone. It is revealed to those who desire truth enough to listen, wait, obey, and be transformed. Today we ask ourselves, do I want answers or do I want Jesus? Do I seek holy things with sincerity or only with passing curiosity? Do I allow His truth to operate in me through patience, humility, and love? When we live in the divine will, Jesus forms His truth in us. Then even silence can speak. Even suffering can shine. Even contradiction can become a throne where Christ the King reigns. Let us pray. Jesus, my King and my truth, reign in me. Let my thoughts be true in your thoughts. Let my words be true in your words. Let my silence be true in your silence. Let my patience be true in your patience. When I am misunderstood, keep me in your dignity. When I am opposed, keep me in your sweetness. When I am tempted to defend myself without charity, place your humble gaze within me. May your truth operate in me, not only when I speak, but also when I wait, endure, forgive, and love. Jesus, eternal truth, make my soul a place where your kingdom can reign. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. May we remember that Jesus does not merely teach the truth, He is the truth. Until tomorrow, stay in His will, and your faith will be made anew.
