Luisa writes,

My sweet Jesus continues to make Himself seen only very few times, and almost always in silence. I felt my mind all confused and full of fear that I might lose my sole and only good, and about many other things, which it is not necessary to say here. Oh, God, what pain! While I was in this state, He made Himself seen for just a little; He seemed to carry a light, and from that light many other little globes of light were coming out. Jesus told me: “Remove every fear from your heart. See, I have brought you this globe of light to place it between you and Me, and among those who approach you. For those who approach you with an upright heart and to do good to you, these little globes of light that come out, will penetrate into their minds, will descend into their hearts, will fill them with joy and with celestial graces, and they will comprehend with clarity that which I operate in you. Those, then, who will come with other intentions, will experience the opposite, and will be dazzled and confused by these little globes of light.” So I remained more tranquil. May everything be for the glory of God.

Welcome, this is David Russell and your faith anew, daily reflections guiding you to live in the divine will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, june eleventh, eighteen ninety nine, volume two. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, in moments of confusion, fear and uncertainty, help us to trust completely in your loving providence. Fill our hearts with your light, remove every fear that keeps us from drawing close to you, and teach us to walk confidently in your divine will. May your grace enlighten our minds, strengthen our hearts, and guide us always toward your truth. Through Christ our Lord, amen. In the gospel, according to Saint John, Jesus says Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. In the Catechism of the Catholic Church it teaches in paragraph one fifty zero faith is a personal adherence of man to God. At the same time and inseparably it is a free ascent to the whole truth that God has revealed. And again in paragraph one hundred forty three, by faith man completely submits his intellect and his will to God. With his whole being, man gives his ascent to God the revealer. As we continue our journey through the book of heaven, let us remain attentive to the truths Jesus reveals through Louisa, allowing these lessons to deepen our understanding of life in the divine will. In today's reading, Jesus reassures Louisa by surrounding her with the light of his presence. Louisa writes My sweet Jesus continues to make himself seen only very few times, and almost always in silence. I felt my mind all confused and full of fear that I might lose my soul and only good, and about many other things, which it is not necessary to say here. Oh God, what pain. While I was in this state, he made himself seen for just a little. He seemed to carry a light, and from that light many other globes of light were coming out. Jesus told me, remove every fear from your heart. See, I have brought you this globe of light to place it between you and me, and among those who approach you. For those who approach you with an upright heart and to do good to you, these little globes of light that come out will penetrate into their minds, will descend into their hearts, will find them with joy and with celestial graces, and they will comprehend with clarity that which I operate in you. Those then who will come with other intentions will experience the opposite, and will be dazzled and confused by these little globes of light. So I remain more tranquil. May everything be for the glory of God. One of the greatest obstacles to spiritual growth is fear. Fear clouds the mind, unsettles the heart, and contempt us to doubt God's presence precisely when He is closest to us. In today's reading, Louisa experiences this struggle. Jesus appears only rarely, remains mostly silent, and her soul becomes troubled by uncertainty and anxiety. Yet Jesus does not rebuke her. Instead, he brings light. The image is beautiful. Jesus carries a globe of light, and from it flows countless smaller lights. This light becomes a sign of his protection, his presence, and his action within the soul. He wants Louisa to understand that even when she cannot clearly see him, he is still at work. The same is true for us. There are times when prayer feels dry, when answers seem delayed, and when we wonder whether God is listening. The temptation is to become discouraged. But the divine will teaches us that God's action is often hidden. The soul living in the divine will learns to trust not feelings, but the certainty of God's love. Notice also how the light affects people differently. Those who approach with sincerity receive illumination, joy and grace. Those who come with impure intentions experience confusion. The light itself does not change, rather each heart responds according to its disposition. This is an important lesson for us. Living in the divine will requires simplicity, humility, and purity of intention. When we seek God sincerely, his light gradually reveals his designs for our lives. We may not understand everything at once, but we receive enough grace for each step forward. Jesus' first words in this passage are worth remembering. Remove every fear from your heart. Fear often comes from focusing on ourselves, on our weaknesses, our uncertainties and our future. Trust comes from focusing on Jesus. The more we surrender our will into His divine will, the more His light becomes our guide. Today, if you find yourself anxious or troubled, place those fears before Jesus. Let His light stand between you and every worry. Trust that even in silence he is working, even in darkness he is guiding, and even when you cannot see clearly, His divine will is leading you toward greater union with him. Let us pray. Jesus, light of my soul, I place every fear, worry, and uncertainty into your hands. So often I become troubled when I cannot see your plan or feel your presence. Yet today you remind me that your light never leaves me. Remove every fear from my heart. Fill my mind with trust and my soul with peace. Let your light penetrate every corner of my life, illuminating my thoughts, guiding my decisions, and strengthening my faith. Teach me to live in your divine will with confidence and simplicity. Help me to seek you with an upright heart, free from selfish motives and full of trust in your providence. May your grace enlighten me and all those whom I encounter today. Jesus, I surrender my will to you. Let your light become my light, your peace become my peace, and your divine will become the life of my soul. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. Jesus reminds us that his light is stronger than every fear. As you go through your day, trust in his hidden presence and allow his divine will to guide your thoughts, words, and actions. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
