Luisa writes,

As I was in my usual state, my adorable Jesus transported me outside of myself, and told me; “My daughter, all virtues can be said to be my qualities and my attributes, but Love cannot be called an attribute of Mine, but rather, my very Nature. So, all virtues form my Throne and my qualities, but Love forms my very Self.” On hearing this, I remembered that the day before I had told a person who feared about the uncertainty of salvation, that one who truly loves Jesus Christ can be sure of being saved. To me, I believe it is impossible that Our Lord would move away from Himself a soul who loves Him with all her heart; therefore, let us think of loving Him, and we will have our salvation in hand. So I asked loving Jesus whether by saying this I had spoken incorrectly, and He added: “My beloved, you said that with reason, because love has this of its own: it forms one object out of two, one will out of two. So, the soul who loves Me forms one single thing with Me, one single will; how can she then be separated from Me? More so, since my Nature is Love, and wherever It finds a few sparks of love in the human nature, immediately It unites them to the eternal Love. Therefore, just as it is impossible to form two souls out of one soul, or two bodies out of one body, so is it impossible for one who truly loves Me to become lost.”

Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew. Daily Reflections guiding you to live in the divine will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, june fifteenth, nineteen oh two, volume four. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, we thank you for creating us out of love and calling us into union with you. Through the grace of your divine will, help us to love you above all things, with an undivided heart and a steadfast will. May every thought, word, and action become an act of love united with the eternal love of Jesus. We ask this through Christ our Lord, amen. In his first letter, Saint John writes Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God. Everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph two one God's very being is love. By sending his only Son and the Spirit of love in the fullness of time, God has revealed His innermost secret. God Himself is an eternal exchange of love, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and He has destined us to share in that exchange. As we continue our journey through the Book of Heaven, let us remain attentive to the truths Jesus reveals through Louisa, allowing these lessons to deepen our understanding of life in the divine will. In today's reading, Jesus reveals how true love unites the soul so completely with him that it forms one will with his own. Louisa writes As I was in my usual state, my adorable Jesus transported me outside of myself and told me My daughter, all virtues can be said to be my qualities and my attributes, but love cannot be called an attribute of mine, but rather my very nature. So all virtues form my throne and my qualities, but love forms my very self. On hearing this, I remembered that the day before I had told a person who feared about the uncertainty of salvation, that one who truly loves Jesus Christ can be sure of being saved. To me, I believe it is impossible that our Lord would move away from Himself a soul who loves him with all her heart. Therefore, let us think of loving him, and we will have our salvation in hand. So I asked loving Jesus whether by saying this I had spoken incorrectly, and he added, My beloved, you said that with reason, because love has this of its own. It forms one object out of two, one will out of two. So the soul who loves me forms one single thing with me, one single will. How can she then be separated from me? More so since my nature is love, and wherever it finds a few sparks of love in the human nature, immediately it unites them to the eternal love. Therefore, just as it is impossible to form two souls out of one soul or two bodies out of one body, so it is impossible for one who truly loves me to become lost. This passage gives us one of the most beautiful descriptions of love found in the book of Heaven. Jesus tells Louisa that virtues may be called his qualities and attributes, but love is something even deeper. Love is his very nature. God does not merely possess love. God is love. This truth helps us better understand what it means to live in the divine will. The goal is not simply to perform good actions or practice individual virtues, important as those are. The goal is union with God Himself. And according to Jesus, love is the bond that makes this union possible. Jesus explains that love has a unique power. It forms one object out of two and one will out of two. This is precisely what happens when a soul sincerely seeks to live in the divine will. The human will does not disappear, but it becomes united with the divine will through love. The soul begins to desire what God desires, to love what God loves, and to seek his glory above all else. Notice that Jesus speaks of even the smallest sparks of love. Wherever he finds authentic love in a human heart, he immediately draws it into his eternal love. This should encourage us greatly. We do not begin this journey as saints. We begin with our weaknesses, imperfections, and limitations. Yet if we sincerely love Jesus and repeatedly give him our will, he takes those small sparks and unites them to the infinite fire of his own love. For those striving to live in the divine will, this reading is also a reminder to keep our focus simple. Sometimes we can become concerned about whether we are doing everything perfectly. Jesus directs us back to the foundation. Love. Love him in the morning. Love him during your work. Love him in your sufferings. Love him when you succeed and when you fail. Each act of love becomes another opportunity for union. The more we love, the more our will becomes aligned with His. The more our will becomes aligned with His, the more we experience the peace and freedom of the children of God. Living in the divine will is not first about extraordinary experiences. It's about allowing love to transform our will into one with the will of Jesus. Today, let us ask for the grace to make every act an act of love. In doing so, we allow Jesus to draw our little spark into the eternal flame of his divine love. Let us pray. Jesus, you have revealed that love is your very nature. Draw us ever more deeply into that eternal love which flows from the heart of the Father through the Son and in the Holy Spirit. We surrender our human will to you. Take our thoughts, our desires, our plans, and our concerns, and unite them with your divine will. Let every heartbeat become an act of love offered for your glory and for the salvation of souls. When our love feels weak, strengthen it. When our hearts grow distracted, call us back to yourself. When we struggle, remind us that even the smallest spark of love is precious to you. May we learn to live each moment in your divine will, not out of fear, but out of love. Form within us one will with yours, so that everything we do may become a continuous act of praise, thanksgiving, reparation, and love. We entrust ourselves completely to you, Jesus, and we ask for the grace to remain always united with you in your divine will. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. We are reminded that love is not merely one of God's attributes, it is his very nature. As we seek to live in the divine will, may we allow every act of our day to become an expression of love united with Jesus. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
