Your Faith Anew! exists to help souls grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith, strive to remain in a state of grace, and encounter the transforming joy of the Gospel. Its mission is simple yet eternal: to save souls, glorify God, and become saints.
Hosted by David Russell, this daily reflection podcast draws deeply from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta—especially The Book of Heaven—guiding listeners into a deeper understanding of living in the Divine Will.
David is the author of four spiritually rich works: Magi Theology: The Essence of Illusion, The Little Magician – Discovers Bigger and Better, Our Pilgrimage with the Pilgrim Virgin, and his newest release, Our Mother in the Divine Will. With a lifelong fascination for the mystical, David discovered a profound connection between the art of illusion and deeper spiritual realities—an insight that inspired both his theological and children’s writings. His work Magi Theology received both the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Diocese of Knoxville.
In 2010, David was introduced to the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, which deeply resonated with his own spiritual insights. This encounter helped shape the foundation of his ministry.
In 2017, he founded the Your Faith Anew! prayer and study group to help Catholics rediscover and fall in love with their Faith. At the heart of his message is this conviction:
“The Catholic Faith prepares us to receive the Gift of Living in the Divine Will—and this Gift enables us to live our Faith in a divine manner most pleasing to God.”

Luisa writes,
This morning, after I received Communion, my adorable Jesus made Himself seen all in suffering and offended, such as to arouse compassion. I clasped Him all to myself, and I said to Him: ‘My sweet Good, how lovable and desirable You are! How can men not love You? Even worse, they offend You! By loving You one finds everything, and the loving of You contains all goods, while by not loving You every good escapes from us. Yet, who loves You? But, O please! my dearest treasure, put aside the offenses of men, and let us pour ourselves out in loving each other for a little.’ Then Jesus called the whole Celestial Court to be spectator of our love, and He said: “The love of the whole of Heaven would not render Me satisfied and content if yours were not there united with it; more so, since that love is my property which no one can take away from Me, while the love of the pilgrim souls is like a property which I am in the act of acquiring. And since my Grace is part of Me, and my Being is most active, as It enters into hearts the pilgrim souls can make traffic of love, and this traffic expands the properties of my love, and I feel such taste and pleasure, that if it were missing, I would remain embittered. This is why, without your love, the love of all Heaven would not render Me fully content. And you – know how to traffic well in my love, for by loving Me in everything, you will render Me happy and content.”
Who can say how amazed I was left on hearing this, and how many things I comprehended about this love? But my tongue begins stammering, therefore I stop here.

Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Luisa Picaretta, august sixth, nineteen oh one, volume four. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, you have created each soul with a unique capacity to know, love, and glorify you. Open our hearts today to recognize that no act of love offered in your divine will is ever insignificant. Free us from discouragement, routine, and self reliance, and teach us to make every thought, word and action an offering worthy of your glory. May your Holy Spirit awaken within us a deeper desire to live continually united with you, so that our lives become a joyful response to your infinite love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. A reading from the first letter of John chapter four verse nine We love because He first loved us. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph two thousand two God's free initiative demands man's free response, for God has created man in his image by conferring on him along with freedom the power to know him and love him. The soul only enters freely into the communion of love. God immediately touches and directly moves the heart of man. He has placed in man a longing for truth and goodness that only He can satisfy. The promises of eternal life respond beyond all hope to this desire. Today, we're invited to consider how God delights in the personal response of every soul that freely chooses to love him. One of the great temptations in the spiritual life is believing that our small acts don't matter. We compare ourselves with the holiness of the saints, the prayers of monasteries, the worship of angels, or the countless faithful throughout the world, and we quietly conclude that our own contribution is too small to make any real difference, but God's way of measuring is not ours. The Father doesn't look first at the size of the work, but at the love with which it is performed, a hidden act of patience, a forgiving word, a faithful duty completed without complaint, a quiet moment of prayer before beginning the day when offered in the divine will. These become acts that participate in the eternal love of Christ Himself. Living in the divine will does not erase our individuality. Rather, it perfects it. God did not create copies, He created persons, each with a distinct relationship to Him that no one else can replace. The love you freely return to God has a beauty that belongs to you alone, because it's the response of the person He uniquely created. This should fill us with both humility and confidence. Humility because every grace comes from God. Confidence because He truly desires our cooperation. He's not asking us to become someone else. He asks us to allow His grace to transform who we already are. Throughout the day, countless opportunities present themselves waiting in traffic, answering a text, caring for a family member, preparing a meal, enduring physical discomfort, or simply smiling at someone who needs encouragement. Each moment becomes another invitation to remain united with God's will. When we consciously invite Jesus to live these moments in us, our ordinary life becomes extraordinary. The smallest actions are no longer isolated human efforts, but become united to the eternal action of Christ. What appears hidden on earth becomes radiant in eternity because divine love gives everlasting value to what the world often overlooks. Today, don't search for extraordinary experiences. Instead seek extraordinary fidelity in ordinary circumstances. Offer your day with love. Repeat often Jesus, live this moment in me. Allow him to transform every heartbeat, every decision, and every encounter into an offering of praise to the Father. The kingdom of the divine will advances not only through great missions, but also through faithful souls who quietly choose love again and again. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for inviting me into a relationship that is both deeply personal and eternally fruitful. I surrender my human will to you and ask that every action of this day be united with the perfect life of Jesus. May my thoughts reflect your wisdom. My words communicate your peace, and my deeds reveal your charity. Help me never to underestimate the value of a single act performed in your divine will. Fill my heart with perseverance when I grow weary, with humility when I succeed, and hope when I struggle. May every moment become an opportunity to glorify you, to love my neighbor, and to hasten the coming of your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, teach me to give you my constant and joyful yes. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today. Until tomorrow, stay in his will, and your faith will be made anew.
