Welcome. This is David Russell and Your Faith Anew, Daily Reflections Guiding You to Live in the Divine Will. Today's reflection is from the Book of Heaven by the servant of God Louisa Picaretta, august twentieth, nineteen hundred, volume three. Let us begin in the will and name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, thank you for remaining faithfully near us in every season of life, especially when our hearts long for greater assurance of your presence. Grant us the grace to seek you with confidence rather than fear, to recognize your gentle work within our souls, and to surrender every thought, desire, and action to your divine will. Teach us to become peaceful instruments through whom your love, mercy, and light may reach others. May every moment of this day become an opportunity to live united with you for your glory and for the coming of your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Amen. A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians, chapter three, verses sixteen through nineteen, that he may grant you in accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in paragraph two six zero The ultimate end of the whole divine economy is the entry of God's creatures into the perfect unity of the Blessed Trinity. But even now we are called to be a dwelling for the most holy trinity. If a man loves me, says the Lord, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Before listening to today's passage from the Book of Heaven, let us open our hearts to the mystery of God's abiding presence that quietly transforms every soul willing to live in his divine will. Louisa writes This morning my adorable Jesus was not coming. Then, after much waiting, when my poor heart could take no more, he made himself seen within my interior and told me My daughter, do not want to afflict yourself because you do not see me, for I am inside of you, and you from here, through you, I am looking at the world. Then he continued making himself seen every now and then, without telling me anything else. There are moments in every spiritual journey when God's closeness seems unmistakable, and there are moments when we wonder why heaven feels so quiet. The temptation during those quieter seasons is to measure God's love by our emotions, or to believe that our prayer has somehow become less fruitful. Yet faith invites us to live by a deeper certainty. The soul that lives in the divine will gradually learns that God's activity is not limited to what can be felt. His greatest work often takes place beneath the surface, where human senses cannot easily perceive it. Just as roots grow silently beneath the earth before a tree produces fruit, so grace frequently matures in hidden ways before it becomes visible in our lives. Living in the divine will means learning to trust God's presence even when nothing extraordinary seems to be happening. It's choosing fidelity over feelings, surrender over self reliance, and confidence over anxiety. Every ordinary task preparing a meal, answering a phone, driving to work, caring for a loved one or praying in silence can become united with the eternal operation of God when offered with love. When we become overly focused on searching for spiritual consolations, we may unintentionally overlook the countless ways God is already working within us. His grace strengthens us to forgive, inspires us to serve, gives us patience in trials, and quietly shapes our hearts into the likeness of Christ. These are often the greatest miracles because they transform not only what we do, but who we become. The divine will invites us into this peaceful confidence. Instead of asking, where is God? We begin asking, How can I cooperate with Him in this present moment? That simple shift changes everything. Our attention moves away from ourselves and toward His loving purpose. Today, let every interruption become an invitation to trust. Let every hidden sacrifice become an offering. Let every encounter become an opportunity for Christ to love through you. As your own will becomes more surrendered, the life of Jesus shines more clearly in your thoughts, your words, and your actions. The world may never notice the hidden union taking place within your soul. But heaven certainly does. Every faithful act performed in the divine will echoes into eternity and participates in God's loving work of renewing all creation. Let us pray. Lord Jesus, thank you for remaining with me in every moment, whether I recognize your presence or not. Free me from depending only upon what I feel or understand. Increase my faith so that I may trust your loving action within my soul each day. Help me to welcome every circumstance as an opportunity to unite my will with yours. May my thoughts reflect your wisdom. My words reveal your kindness, and my actions become channels of your grace. Transform the ordinary moments of my life into offerings of love that glorify the Father and hasten the coming of your kingdom. Keep me faithful, peaceful, and joyful as I continue walking with you in the divine will. Amen. Thank you for joining your faith anew today.
